BMW Team Hungary with Efficient Dynamics got the polesitter position in vain on the 24 hours race, in Nürnburg, the team (László Palik, János Vida, Csaba Walter, Gábor Wéber) could not finish the contest. The engine of the BMW 120d nearly 4 hours after the start gave up.

The car was crashed on Thursday, while the Friday qualifying session was interrupted because of the fog by the organiser. On the Friday qualifying session the team got the best result among the diesel cars, but they had extremely bad luck on Saturday – briefly summarized the last days of the BMW Team Hungary with Efficient Dynamics.
- Simply the whole is unbelievable – declared disappointedly László Palik, the winner of the National Cross Country Rally Championship, in 2008. – Csaba Walter gotaway, but the cooling water got warm continuously, so could not go with full speed. Then Gábor Wéber sat in the car, which was smoking, and approximately 4 hours after the start we had to give the race up. The cooling system of the BMW broke down. Now we pack and go home. We are very sad, but we need to accept it. This is a technical sport, and unpredictable. Nothing to do, now we start the preparation for the 12 hours race, organised in October, in Mogyoród.
